BFC, New Acting Director
It is with great regret that BFC council accepted Graham Irving's resignation as BFC director, due to personal reasons, on the 5th June 2007. We all wish Graham well, and thank him for the huge amount he has done for the club in recent years.
Council met today (7th July 2007) needing to address this situation and unanimously voted to appoint Nick Havemann-Mart as Acting director. It was felt by council that Nick was the best possible candidate to direct the club until such time as BFC full members could elect him, or another director. The warm round of applause Nick recieved from council illustrates its relief at identifying a suitable candidate prepared to take on this onerous position. Thankyou Nick!
Due to the timing of these events, it will not be possible to elect a club director by the normal process until the 2008 AGM and Nick will perform the duties of the director until that time.
