Import ban extended

Re: Captive bird import ban (non-poultry)
SCoFCAH - the EU Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health - met today to vote on the future of the captive bird import ban. The outcome of the vote is that the ban has been extended in full until 31 March 2007 . This means there is no relaxation of the ban from any countries outside the EU.
