Alan Gates will talk about the passion and the Journey of falconry. It starts from his boyhood days taking his first hawk a Kestrel to school, his introduction to training passage goshawks and on to the decades of flying and breeding Golden Eagles.
The Journey is the eventual journey to meet and hunt with the Burkutchi’s of Central Asia and his many journeys to hawk with the falconers of China.
